One (1) New Reproduction Windshield Molding Seal Lock Strip.

This is the lock strip that sits between the windshield glass and the frame of the car to fill the gap, protect the edges of the windshield, and keep water out.
The original Christmas tree cross-section molding has been long discontinued by GM and is no longer available anywhere.
The original GM molding (part # 10103279) was 5/16″ but often would leave a slight gap even from the factory. I’ve found that a slightly wider face of 1/2″ seals just a bit better and looks nicer and more modern. See the second picture for a comparison of the OEM seal vs my seal, on two of my Fieros.
This Christmas tree molding can be installed without removing the windshield so it’s perfect for replacing a molding after doing a paint job or can be installed with a windshield change to keep that original factory look.
This molding is approximately 11’6″ long by 1/2″ wide face and 1/2″ deep. The original was about 10′ long so you have extra material you can either cut away or wrap just a bit farther around the bottom of the glass.
