Complete 88 (and 84-87) Rear Caliper Rebuild Kits Now In Stock!

It’s time for our once in a blue moon email update! Two years since out last email. No one likes spam right?
FieroGear.com is excited to announce we now just received in a limited supply of 88 complete rear brake caliper kits. We sold out of these two years ago and believe it or not have been working on getting more in all this time.

We’ve had so many requests for these we lost track of who had requested to be added to the email list when we got more in stock and figured a good number of you would want to know right away since demand will likely be high and we want to give our loyal customers first crack at these.

Everything that was included in the kit before is still included, but we also are now including the air vent nipple.
Currently will be selling only in sets of two kits, but after things settle down plan to add back the single rebuild kit ordering option.

Also due to popular demand we also have added 84-87 rear kits complete with the inner piston seal to our product line and those will go live for sale in the next week or so.

In the last six months we added a minimum $ order quantity of $25 in order to maintain our free shipping special. Obviously this doesn’t affect your brake caliper rebuild order which will ship free, but might be a good time to add some smaller cheaper parts to your caliper rebuild order that wouldn’t meet the minimum spend by themselves (small cheaper items like door key blanks or headlight motor rebuild kits).
Detailed instructions on how to disassemble and rebuild the inner piston are in the tech section on the site. Spoiler alert: In case you haven’t done that part before, it’s pretty easy.

Come check out our site for more details and to place your order. Supplies are obviously limited..
Thanks for reading and for your business, past and future.

New Product Announcement: R12 Refrigerant

7/6/2023

It’s time for our once in a blue moon update!

Summer’s here and things are heating up…including your Fiero’s cabin. If your Fiero’s 35 year old A/C system isn’t blowing cold anymore, you may be in for a grueling summer. Most owners think that the only way they can get an older car’s A/C working again is to do an expensive conversion to R134….or worse…they just resign themselves to suffer through the heat of summer.

Unfortunately, a correctly done R134 conversions typically requires a new compressor, o-rings and often a new condensor and lines that can handle the higher pressure required by the R134 system compared to the R12 system. Costs can easily run from $500-$1000 for parts, R134 refrigerant, and labor. Even if everything goes as planned, R134 is not as efficient and does not cool as well as a solid fully charged R12 system.
.
So what’s a Fiero owner to do? FieroGear.com is excited to announce we now carry a limited supply of NOS R12 refrigerant to top off your factory system. No need to shell out a bunch of money to do a conversion with so-so results when you can get your original cooling system running as good as new for a fraction of the cost.

Come check out our site for more details and to place your order. Supplies are obviously limited, so don’t delay.
